Hey there everybody! I'm planning on doing a weekly artist spotlight to showcase a band that I've been listening to recently. This band could be anything: an unheard artist, a classic artist that's been around for decades, or maybe a popular artist today. It all depends.
This week's artist is Radiohead.
Radiohead has been making excellent music ever since the early 90's. They're a five piece out of England, and primarily play a soft rock/indie kind of feel, but they have branched out into more electronic sounding music in the last decade.
To brag on them, they make some of the best sounding music I've ever heard. Their singer, Thom Yorke, has one of the best voices since Jim Morrison in my opinion. Their music is a tad morose, but they play songs about serious subjects and make it sound incredible. They're very popular, and most people have heard of them. However, what I encourage everyone to do, is just to take one of their albums and listen to each song individually. You will not be upset that you did.
The albums by them I most highly recommend are "The Bends" and "OK Computer", and my favorite songs by them include (Nice Dream), Fake Plastic Trees, and Weird Fishes/Arpeggi. The first two are off of The Bends, and Weird Fishes/Arpeggi is off their most recent album, In Rainbows
